How to stop bugs from eating yout tomato plants withiut using any chemicals with companion plants

Farmer Dean here, and I saw this garlic hack for kids where you put the garlic in the water and let it grow. I use this as companion planting for my tomatoes. So now I don’t have to put just a piece in there like this and let it grow for three weeks. I can start it immediately so the bugs will stop eating my tomatoes right away.

So let me show you how this is done. You peel the outside, and now I’m just going to sit this in water. You’ll notice that I had a top in there because I don’t want it sitting completely in water. I just want the roots in water. This will grow into this in about two weeks. And that way I’ll be able to put this right in the ground. They split right apart. So you have individual ones that you can plant.

So every one of those will go in as individual plants in and around my tomatoes. OMGs, I don’t have to wait two weeks!
